Seven-time Grammy winning veteran music Producer/Mixer/Songwriter NealHPogue, born and raised in a New Jersey borough called Roselle, has 35 years of experience in the music industry, has earned over 200 gold and platinum RIAA certified singles and albums, and has worked with a multitude of artists across just about every genre. Most notably, in 2004 Pogue won an Album of the Year Grammy Award for his work on Outkasts’ 13x platinum album SpeakerBoxx/The Love Below, which has recently become the highest certified Hip Hop album of all time (beating out Eminem’s record holding feat) which also included mixing perhaps one of the most popular songs in music history: “Hey Ya!”
In 2013 Pogue, produced and mixed Earth,Wind and Fire’s critically acclaimed album Now, Then and Forever, which was their highest charting album in 28 years and has gone gold in several european countries.
In 2020 and 2022 Pogue won Best Rap Album Grammy’s for mixing Tyler The Creators’ “IGOR” and “Call Me If You Get Lost” which both went #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart. In 2021 Pogue won two Grammy’s with Kaytranada for Best Dance Recording “10%” and Best Dance/Electronic Album “Bubba.” In February of 2023 Pogue won his sixth Grammy with Steve Lacy for his album Gemini Rights for Best Progressive R&B Album.
Also in 2022, Pogue was nominated for one of the biggest grammy honors, Best Engineered Album for The Marías “Cinema”, and Album of the Year for Doja Cat’s “Planet Her.” In 2024 Pogue won his most treasured seventh Grammy for Best Engineered Album for Victoria Monet’s “Jaguar II.”
Pogue mixed one of the biggest songs in Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 history: Awolnation’s 10x platinum single “Sail” and the groundbreaking platinum single “Waterfalls” by TLC and made Billboard chart history with Steve Lacy’s hit single “Bad Habit” by having #1 singles on The Hot 100, Hot R&B Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Hot Alternative Songs, Hot Rock Songs and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts simultaneously.
Neal has had four consecutive #1 platinum album’s with Tyler, The Creator for “IGOR”, “Call Me If You Get Lost”, “Chromakopia” and “Don’t Tap The Glass”.
Pogue mixed records on Doja Cat’s album Vie, mixed 21 Savage’s album WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS, mixed Kehlani’s #1 hit and Grammy winning single “Folded” and her self titled album Kehlani, Executive Produced and Mixed Devon Gilfillian’s album Time Will Tell (June 26th 2026) and mixed upcoming albums for Vince Staples, Miles Caton, Johnny Venus and Olivia Rodrigo’s hit first single “Drop Dead” from her upcoming album Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love (June 12th 2026).
